Speaking Engagements
by Dr. Les Priemer
Dr. Priemer is passionate about helping other dentists get involved in the exciting new aspect of dentistry. Too often dentists take extensive courses and purchase expensive equipment, but are disappointed with results of their first cases and decide never to treat another case.
Dr. Priemer’s one day course is designed to get attending dentists comfortable with this new treatment modality, with a minimum of time and start up expenses. This one day seminar is designed so that dentists can leave his course and treat APPROPRIATE cases the next day. The key is the recognition of these cases and then, as expertise and confidence develops, more difficult situations can be taken on. Actual cases, including sleep studies, their interpretation and management, are presented.
The course includes:
- Pathogenesis and epidemiology of sleep related breathing disorders (snoring and obstructive sleep apnea)
- Medical consequences and protocols
- Interpretation of sleep studies and communication with the medical community
- Marketing

Participant Testimonials:
I originally considered treating sleep apnea a few years ago after reading an article. I called the author and he cautioned me against treating anyone till I received extensive education. I was not able to fit these courses into my schedule and slowly lost interest in the subject. When your course came up, I thought that this may be a start. What I did not expect was such a well thought out and organized presentation. It taught what I need to know to proceed and treat cases.Of course, I will continue my education on this subject, but this course let me leave with a “working knowledge” for treatment of a growing segment of the population. I can’t thank you enough or complement you highly enough for the service you have provided for dentists and a job well done. Wishing you continued success in all of your endeavors. – JG
I attended your Snoring/Sleep Apnea seminar on October 22, 2010 in Independence, Ohio. Your talk was both fascinating and enlightening. Thank you for coming to Cleveland. – DG
An excellent presentation for those wanting to get involved in what is America’s next major health crisis (Snoring & Stroke). – FM

I attended your course on Friday and although I thanked you upon my departure, I just wanted to reiterate my thanks.
It is truly refreshing to hear a knowledgeable, passionate and humble speaker. You spoke in depth, in a very organized fashion with lots of anecdotes to keep the seminar moving and interesting. Your humbleness was apparent…keep it up.
I feel comfortable to begin a simple case and am very excited to enter this very necessary area of patient care.
So thank-you for that.
Best wishes,
Dr. Andrea C. Jack
